Risk Disclaimer

General Disclaimer and Disclosure:

Convergent Trading LLC (heretoforth “CT”) provides a venue and environment for traders to explore their trading potential while receiving educational support to help you navigate the process of trading as a professional. CT does not provide investment advice nor does it manage investments or trade for others. It is not required to be registered with any governmental or self-regulatory organization for these reasons.

By attending, purchasing or subscribing to content provided by CT, you are agreeing that you understand and accept the risk inherent to trading. Trading futures, options on futures, FX, crypto-currencies and other financial instruments carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Additionally, you acknowledge that any trading or investment decisions you make are totally your own and the outcomes of those trades are fully your responsibility. You further acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for your own trading decisions and actions and that neither CT, nor its principles, officers, staff or affiliates are liable for any damage or losses that you may incur.

Solicitation by other members or parties:

We believe that our members have the best intentions and are in alignment with our vision and mission to change how traders approach their development. However, there may be opportunities where some members may seek to solicit to manage others’ accounts while using our service and environment. CT strictly forbids members from soliciting each other for trading. We strongly urge you to never allow private individuals to trade your account or to pool your trading funds with theirs. By law, if an individual is managing funds for unrelated members of the public, they may be required to register with the NFA or the CFTC.

If you are solicited by another member, we urge you to contact us at [email protected] and inform us of this event. In our experience, a person who is not registered but is soliciting funds for trading, is likely to commit fraud and is likely to inflict losses to your account.

CT does not endorse any of its members, officers, principles, staff or affiliates for trading others’ funds. If in doubt, please contact us.

Hypothetical Performance Disclosure:

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR ADHERE TO A 15 PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.

By accessing our services, you are acknowledging that you understand that all historical studies and results are hypothetical in nature and that you understand their limitations.
